Course 1. Foundation (Entry Point)

Metamark Foundation Course

Start Here: Foundation Handling & Application

The Foundation Course is the essential entry point into the Metamark Academy — designed to build the core skills required to confidently work with self-adhesive films.

Delivered as a practical, hands-on program, this course focuses on real-world application across signage environments — not just theory.

Participants will develop the fundamental techniques needed to improve install quality, reduce errors, and create more consistent outcomes on the job.

This is a structured, outcome-driven course designed to build confidence and capability from day one.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Identify and select the correct film for each application.
  • Prepare surfaces to ensure long-term adhesion.
  • Apply films using both dry and wet techniques.
  • Use correct squeegee techniques for consistent finishes.
  • Troubleshoot common issues (bubbles, lifting, creasing).
  • Complete a full signage application to a professional standard.

All training is built around measurable outcomes — ensuring participants leave job-ready with practical, repeatable skills.

Designed for maximum learning in a short timeframe, this course combines theory with hands-on execution.

  • 1-Day Intensive Training.

  • Location: The Ball & Doggett – Experience Hub, Brendale QLD 4500.
  • $250pp Introductory Offer (normally $350pp)
  • Duration: 9am to 4:30pm (1 Day).
