Did you know we stock synthetic products engineered for digital printing? Well, we sure do. In fact, we’ve got three absolute winners – PicoFilm, EnDURO and Tacky Dry Super Tuff Poly. They’re all high temperature resistant (meaning they won’t melt), durable, tear proof and weather resistant.

PicoFilm
A coated polyester (PET) that offers excellent colour reproduction, stiffness and trouble free feeding. This product is suitable for both Dry Toner and HP Indigo presses.

EnDURO
A high white paper laminate reinforced with a polypropylene (PP) or polyester (PET) film. Comes in ICE (PET – transparent) or Classic (PP – paper face). The ideal combination of paper feel, with the strength and printability of a synthetic. It’s easy to convert, has great printability and is easy to fold. Suitable for Dry Toner and HP Indigo presses.

Tacky Dry Super Tuff Poly
A polyester based, non adhesive paper with a white satin finish. Tacky Dry Super Tuff Poly has a soft tactile quality and comes in adhesive options too. Suitable for Dry Toner printing only.

Applications
There are so many uses for these products including point-of-sale, overlays, envelopes and protective jackets, maps, golf/membership cards, tags, entrance tickets, numbered bibs for sporting events, use-by dates for food, menus, personalised certificates, training manuals, blue prints, parking tickets, horticulture tags, boating maps and hotel door handle tags. We’re launching into wide format!

Yes, we’ve done it! We’ve finally entered the wide format space and we’re still bringing you, our customers, the same reliable service, delivery and inventory levels you’ve come to expect from us, just in the wide format arena. Hooray!

Key to our new venture is a very exciting partnership we have with Avery Dennison. We’re selling a big selection of their wide format range including self adhesives eg high performance, intermediate and promotional/short term plus flexible banners. This partnership means we’re now the only paper merchant in Australia to sell such a large portfolio of Avery Dennison’s wide format range.

The rest of our range includes rigid media, synthetics, paper and boards eg backlit media, overlaminates, wall graphics for both indoor and outdoor use. We’re talking outdoor advertising, wall graphics, in store point of sale material, petrol station banners, bus station signage, outdoor advertising etc. Doggett Digital medias are hassle free and matched to all the common inkjet technologies. We also have converting services for any media that comes in rolls.

The head of our Doggett Digital portfolio is the wonderful Jon Roberts. He masterminded the selection of our wide format range, specifically chosen to match the printing requirements of our customers. Say hello to Pop’Set, the latest and brightest addition to our Doggett Digital range. Pop’Set is an ultra smooth, vibrant and highly pigmented range of specialty papers. Our Cosmo Pink, Lime Tonic and Black are sure to make your project snap, crackle and pop! Made by Arjowiggins Creative Papers, Pop’Set is also HP Indigo certified, works on dry toner machines and is FSC certified with 30% post consumer waste.

To promote this fun range we have created three A5 postcards using a graphic to show what can be achieved with a digital printing process, as well as the versatility and print quality of the paper. The crazy character on the front is called C-Myk, from an Arjowiggins contest created overseas. The theme of the promo is all about making print jobs pop! Think business cards and invitations that say ‘look at me’ or you might like to inject a burst of energy into your next annual report, promotional or packaging project.

Check out the colour reproduction on the Cosmo Pink card. It’s pretty spesh. To achieve this we had to ensure two hits of opaque white ink were laid down first as the base, then we printed CMYK over the top on a HP Indigo printer. It’s an affordable and quick way to achieve a killer result.

For something extra special, we printed the Black card with four hits of opaque white ink. We are loving the tonal effects between the denser and lighter areas.

As a comparison, the Lime Tonic card was printed CMYK on a dry toner Xerox Colour 800 to show how the ink responds to the intensity of the pigmented paper. It’s a cool way to play with colour and shows how you can produce an entirely different effect.

Printing specs:

Card 1 – printed CMYK with two hits of opaque white ink base on Pop’Set Cosmo Pink 320gsm.
Card 2 – printed CMYK on Pop’Set Lime Tonic 320gsm.
Card 3 – printed with four hits of opaque white ink base on Pop’Set Black 320gsm.
Belly band – Curious Translucents Clear 92gsm.
